Looking at the current rules.c it seems like cables (both subsea and overhead) and pipelines are suppressed. Any reason for that? I have mapped a lot of cables and pipelines in Brazil, specially the port of Rio de Janeiro, where oil, gas and chemical terminals are located on isolated piers in the middle of the bay, treatment and storage facilities on small islands, and export lines to consumers on main land.

The reason is that these objects cause the renderer to slow down to a crawl, causing backlogs to build, often taking several days to clear. I am working on a new renderer that will overcome this problem, but it is unlikely to be commissioned until sometime next year. Please keep mapping these objects, as they will be retro-actively rendered once the new renderer is in service.
