Hi,
On the Bréhat island off France, the Rosédo lighthouse is referenced in the US NGA LoL database (reference 114 / 7864, 48 51.5 N - 3 00.3 W). But it doesn't appear neither in OpenStreetMap nor OpenSeaMap. I thought there's an automatic feed from this source. Is there an easy was to create it from the US NGA data?

There is no automatic feed. We did a manual import some time ago, but the light you refer to must have subsequently been deleted. (This happens in OSM!). If you restore this light, be warned that the positions in the NGA LoL are not very accurate. The precision is only given to 0.1', whereas we need an order of magnitude better than that.

Ok, I'll recreate it and position it using Bing (no French IGN survey mark for this lighthouse :-( ). Is there a small script or tool to transform the tabular export of US NGA to the OSM XML format?

Are you aware of the OpenSeaMap JOSM plugin?
I have added the seamark tags to your POI

Thanks you for the edit of the lighthouse.
Yes I have JOSM and the plugin but I didn't see how I could help in that case :-(

Using the plugin, I entered the data from LoL manually.
