Hello OpenSeaMaps Team,
Can you please supply a format description for the bathymetry data you would like to receive?
To what Chart Datum (vertical datum) does the depth need to be reduced to: LAT, MSL, NAP (The Netherlands), TAW (belgium), Normal Null (Germany), Ect.
What is the required horizontal datum (WGS84, ITRF08, ETRS89, ect)
Offline
Make sure that whatever datum you use, its either encoded in the file itself or included in an auxiliary file like README. Its very easy to convert between datums.
I recently worked on a Sonar depth logger. This is what we used.
1. Horizontal datum WGS84.
2. Vertical depths are recorded as such along with the keel offset. Correcting the values to a reference datum would have to be done on top of the Sonar logs.

This had helped me a lot as I have the same challenge with the OP. Thanks mb12.
