Hello,
For a couple of days, I have been trying to download an a12 map of Norway via the FTP-server
When I click on the [30] number to download the a12 chart of Norway, I get a message that the FTP server is not reachable...
any suggestions to get this map downloaded?
Best regards,

Hi Joeri,
I don't know how to fix this problem but as a workaround you could download similar openseamap charts from http://www.wosoft-map.de/ or https://www.schoenhoff.org/kostenlose-o … seekarten/

Hi Joeri,
the map files listed in the wiki page do not exists on the server anymore .. but I do not know whether they are stored somethere else.
Thank you for posting this problem here.
I will have a look for the files.
@Sven: We are currently working on a new interactive map with a download layer. Are you interested in displaying your maps there?
Here is a development preview: http://aaxee.github.io/online_chart_ol3 … =A10001011

Hi Axel,
is there no at5 chart maintainer in the openseamap team? I like the download layer and you can use my maps for them if you like. I don't have a copyright on them anyway because they are based on osm data
Just tell me how I can help you.
PS: Please keep in mind that my maps don't have the form of a rectangle and that you need to choose between different compatibility versions and that you need to download multiple files because I designed them modular.
Besides that I will move the files from my dropbox to a vserver or webspace in the next weeks.
Best regards
Sven

Great to hear that. Maybe we can work together hosting and/or creating maps.
Markus - one of the founders of OpenSeaMap - will contact you with details.

No problem. The map area is modelled as a polygon
In the current development state we need a meta file for each map bundle. Details are described here: http://wiki.openseamap.org/wiki/OpenSea … load_Layer
For the kap bundles I extract the geojson data from XML files provided together with the maps: https://github.com/OpenSeaMap/chart-bundles-compressor
