Eagle Intellimap480

Hi to everybody,

I am meeting with difficuties in finding maps for my old Eagle Intellimap 480, that is supposed to read maps in at5 format. Unfortunately my chartplotter does not. I used MapCreator to convert shp files in at5 atlas 6 and atlas 7 files and I tried also with  at5 atlas 10 and 11 downloaded from OpenSeaMap web site. Nothing works.

There is any hope to find maps that work on that device? The area of my interest is the Mediterranean (south and east).

Many thanks

Stefano

Hi,
I can't find any source that confirms the support of a chart format like at5.

Best regards
Sven

Re: Eagle Intellimap480

Dear Sven,
thank you for your replay. My Intellimap 480 correctly read the at5 format from the SD card, but does not upload it. Do you know what kind of map format this device uses? Apparently it woud be possible to use maps generated by MapCreate software, but they are in at5 format.

Many thanks

Stefano

According to this product page of the manufacturer, the device supports "Optional MapCreate™ Accessory Pack, FreedomMaps™, and Navionics® Gold, Classic and HotMaps™".
Do you have the latest firmware (2.1.0)? Also, that page mentions a size limit for the card: "One MMC/SD card slot - 1 GB max per card" - is that respected?
