seamark:type=wall

seamark:type=wall is not rendering.

But since I've posted this here I might as well also ask if this is the correct mark to denote a "road" of connected blue buoys meant to denote "safe harbour"?

Re: seamark:type=wall

The object that you have mapped should not be a "seamark:type=wall" (categories: fence, hedge, wall), but a "seamark:type=obstruction" with "seamark:obstruction:category=boom". The area that such booms enclose may be separately mapped with a closed way that is tagged according to the type of area (restricted area, anchorage, etc.). I would suggest a small separation between the obstruction way and the area way so that the two renderings are not overlapping.

(PS: Closed area ways should run clockwise for correct rendering.)

Re: seamark:type=wall

Thank you for your reply.

The way has been updated.

However, can I ask where you got this information from? I have double checked google and the wiki's internal search and cannot find a category listing for obstruction.

I am also curious as to why "wall" is not rendered since it is an actual OSeaM object.

Re: seamark:type=wall

The suggested solution no longer renders. Ideas?

Re: seamark:type=wall

Booms are now being rendered. I tested it on one of your Singapore objects: http://map.openseamap.org/map/?zoom=15& … FFFFFTF0FF
